New Game +

Beat the game and you can save and start from the beginning with augments and specifics things carried over. After 3 playthroughs in a row, you can't start another New Game + on that file (unless you delete it).

Why do they limit us on the best extra feature known to man?  CT let you do it infinitely as does RS (PS2).

Why not? Believe me, once you have omnicasting and dualcast on both your mages there is no challenge left anyway.

And best feature known to man? I sure hope you're kidding, it's just a cheap way to artificially extend the length of the game a bit.

I was poking fun a bit, but it does give me a good reason to go through the games I like again.  I wish FF12 had this feature as well as pretty much any RPG.

You know, I said omnicasting on both of them but it isn't even all that useful for Rydia, she has Bahamut for multi-target damage. It might be a better idea to give the extra to Fusoya and only give it to Rydia on the third playthrough...

Does omnicasting still get affected by split target damage or not?

If it isn't, it's still good for Rydia for Flare.

Pretty sure it does split damage, I mainly use it with Rosa to apply Blink and Haste though, I'll verify the next time I play.

Perhaps, an easier way to check is to see if the Cure set of spells get affected by Omnicasting... or even Holy.

Oh, I already knew Cure was still split, I just wasn't sure on spells that usually aren't multi-target. Those are as well.

Well, I meant.. if the Cure set of spells aren't affected by split damage, it would be a very big upgrade.
