dummy palettes

ok we all know there is a shit load of dummy palettes in FF6

I was wondering

is there a way to edit them and to make characters use these palettes?

can anyone help me out here?

oh and if this was asked before srry :p

If I recall, you can only use the first 8 or so of the Palettes for the characters because of some technical reason.  The rest are used for monsters, effects, and environments.

ah I see

because I noticed 7 cannot be edited in the FF3SE (but can be in the other editor) I am not sure if the 8th can be edited though or even implemented
