Okay, that's enough suggestions for now, I haven't even finished downloading half the ones listed in I.S.T.'s post. I'll give some very short reviews of what I've played so far:

Altered Beast: Only played for a few minutes, didn't really like it.
Castlevania Bloodlines: Already played this one before, not my favorite CV but a good one.
Comix Zone: I'm really enjoying this one but it doesn't run too good in jEnesisDS, I think I'll play through it in Fusion.
Contra Hard Corps: Seems better than any of the other Contras I've played but I suck at it just as bad.
Cool Spot: One of my friends rented this when it first came out and we really liked it, I'm not seeing the appeal now.
Golden Axe: Not nearly as good as I remember.
Rocket Knight Adventures: This is one of the ones I owned and forgot about it. I used to be pretty good at it, not so much now, need to practice.
Streets of Rage: I'm not usually a fan of this genre but this one seems good, I'm going to keep playing it.
Vectorman: This one's good, I unlocked it in Sonic Gems Collection.
Vectorman 2: Ditto.

Man, Comix Zone is hard. Harder than Contra: Hard Corps, IMO.

Of course, I never even bothered to beat Contra without cheats, so I could be wrong...

Streets of Rage 2 is infinitely better than SOR1. It's just got better game balance, graphics, music, etc. In almost every single way it is superior.

SD and 3D are two worlds that should never mix, IMO...

Well, I want an ultra-pretty and non-gimped in the sound department remake of FF6. PS2 quality at least. >.>

Don't discount the DS's abilities just yet...

If the screenshots of FF4 i've seen are any indication, it's above n64 quality, but not by that much. The FF6 remake I imagine is a full scale PS3/X360 masterwork. >.>

It's a torrent, bitch!

>.>

Also of note is the Squaresoft E3 press kit from 98/99. I'm avoiding the FF9 beta torrent(Normally I go crazy for betas, provided they're for games not being sold anymore, as they provide an insight into how the game was made, and the changes it went through, but FF9 was the most boring 70 someodd hours I've spent on an RPG...), but I'll definitely be grabbing that.

Edit: I should mention that there's not gonna be a lot of changes between the betas and the final versions. They're supposedly near final copies, and according to the guy who posted the torrent, what little he played of it was no different than the finished version.

Edit: Holy shit. more press kit type materials. I'm gonna copy paste the names:

Kingdom Hearts E3 2002 Media CD
Enix E3 2002 Electronic Media Kit
Square Enix E3 2004 Media CD

Wow, man I'll be grabbing that stuff later.. right now there's not a lot of sources.

Hell, I could just link to the site if that's allowed... It's a public release.

This reminds me of something. A few days ago, a beta copy of the first two discs of FF9 came out. They're near final copies, and for some lame reason the people who are giving it out are not saying what the changes are... They included screenshots of the discs, so I don't think it's fake.

I can see Dolphindash giving somebody a seizure. Seriously, if you get dizzy occasionally playing games, avoid it like the plague.

Fun though, but damn it flashes like crazy.

*Crosses fingers for the eventual FF6 remake to be on a stronger system than the DS.*

Man, I asskicked Avoider.

Some tips. A. The game is buggy as hell. if you manage to get a power up at the same time one of the other three blocks hits an edge, it will get stuck. Once this happens at least once, you've pretty much won. B. Avoid using the R power up. Yes, it'll shrink you, but you'll be unshrunk after a while. It's very easy to get screwed by that. C. Inverse is pretty much useless. Indeed, you'll want to avoid it like the plague if you get one of the three blocks stuck in a wall, as it'll possibly free one of them.
