I think the first option is best. I'm sure there are people out there like me who know something's off, but not how to fix it manually.

Fixed to be a description of the gif.

For a thought, but Terra's arguably the 2nd easiest (maybe 3rd) to obtain.. only because you just have to goto a straight boss battle once you get the airship (unless the story wasn't accelerated if a trip to Mobliz wasn't made prior).

Although, I remember one hack that forced me to avoid that trip to Mobliz because the boss used Merton...  :wtf:

I'd like to know the name of that hack. this way, I can smack anyone who thinks it's good.

I think everyone who's frequented that board goes through that phase at least once. It doesn't accomplish anything, as you'd expect.

That's what I figured. :(

Perhaps reporting every single trolling post he makes would work?

Well, probably not. Knowing gamefaqs, you'd get yelled at for harassing him...

I'll say this again, like I've said before...

FF5A is the only port that isn't tweaked to overpoweredness... bugs or no bugs.

Still, though, FF6 is easy to overpower. Good levels plus Genji Glove plus Offering=death to all.

I recall doing 30,000 damage using that easy.

Like I said there, that shit be game breaking. Eventually, I'm gonna abuse it like frigging crazy...

It was a 3d GPU with some commands(So to speak. I'm braindead and I can't think of a better way to refer to it) that help with doing 2D stuff. The saturn beats it, yes, but the GBA/DS(The DS' 2d capabilities are nearly the same as the GBA. Hell, the DS is basically an enhanced GBA) doesn't.

282
You know what I'd like to see on the Nintendo DS(It will never happen, I'm sure)? a 2d game with the production values of Castlevania:SOTN. Nobody's willing to put that kind of money and time into it, plus the DS 2d wise isn't as good as a PS1 anyway...

283
It was phased out because the DS took off in a way Nintendo could only have dreamed of. It was originally designed to be in a different market segment than the GBA(Hence the 60 dollar difference. The GBA at the time cost 70-80 bucks). However, everyone but Internet reading gamers saw it as  the next GB, and it became Nintendo's first license to print money since the NES(when referring to a system only, of course).

...

See, this is what happens you learn of The Power of Not Reading.

You see, you can only buy VC games straight from Nintendo. Only. It's impossible to sell them. Not only that, but how many people read frigging ROM/emulation site news? How would they even know about this stuff?

Now, instead of, say, freaking the fuck out, do some research next time. The Power of Not Reading is alluring, yes, but in the end it is evil.

285
Sega is, or at least was, mega friendly to emulation.

Yep, which is why that topic over at RHDN seemed fishy to me, and in the end it turned out it had absolutely nothing to do with Sega. Believe me, if Sega wanted to go after anyone for ROM hacking it would be the Sonic hackers, they haven't used patches in years now, mostly because they use split disassemblies and the resulting ROM ends up almost completely different from the original--a patch is useless in that case.

That Sega CD version of Sonic 1 Megamix being the shining example of that...

Edit: You edited your post just as I clicked the quote button. By shining example I meant the no patches thing, not why they don't do patches.
