I haven't played any Star Ocean games since the 2nd one.  Also Monster Hunter doesn't seem like my cup of tea.  And I'll check out that Plants vs Zombies thing.

But for me I bought this: Legacy of Y's

It will probably be ok and if I like it enough I might get the offical Falcom release on the PSP in July.

It takes easily 20 seconds to load a search page completely before I can do anything.  In the meantime my entire browser (and sometimes computer(s) freeze).

General Discussion / Tips to make eBay surfing faster?
« on: June 15, 2009, 08:36:08 PM »
So why has ebay got to be so bloated that it makes any web browser on any computer run like its on 133mhz P1 processor?  I've tried everything in Opera, Firefox and IE to make it load faster on this computer and about 5 others so I know its not me or the computers or the browsers.  So I need someone to give me a hand on what settings my main browser (Opera) need in order for it not to run like molasses.  I'm not a computer noob so feel free to use whatever terminology suits you.  I'm guessing there is a set group of settings I could do that makes it fun faster but I can't seem to find one.  I'm growing annoyed to the extent that I'm almost done with ebay in general.

Its pretty decent--a couple of mistakes/etc but over all a positive review.  I strongly suggest you pick it up.  Its issue 195 July 2009.  That is all.

I've beaten FFT PSX on my PSP, I'm about to beat Romancing SaGa PS2 and a couple of the other games I have are rather lame.  So I need a new game.  Here are some things to think about before recommending me a game.

Things I prefer but not stricly limited to:
-RPG (old school console style)
-Would prefer it on my PSP or DS or maybe PS2 (in order)
-If on PS2 would prefer it not to take more than 30-35 hours to complete
-Do not want to spend more than $25 so I prefer it to be used
-Need something that is truly addictive
-Not to be frustrating or overly tedious

Things she prefers:
-Puzzles
-Would prefer it on the DS or PSP (in order)
-Needs to be addictive to a point where she doesn't want to put it down
-Something that has cute and easy on the eys graphics
-Cannot be frustrating to the point where she puts it down
-Can be one of those cooking DS games

So please send me a link (GameFAQs/spot preferably) of some games to look at.  I am going to do some eBay hunting tonight to find something.

The recent games that we have played are the following--which should give you an idea about what to expect.

Me:
Romancing SaGa (PS2)
Final Fantasy Tactics (PSX)
Dungeon Siege (PSP)
Final Fantasy I (PSP)
Final Fantasy XII (PS2)

Her:
Build-a-Lot
Sudoku
Majong

Thanks in advance!

The least they could do is allow for longer digits for the names of things and increase a few things.  While its cool that it exsists...they didn't expand on it any it doesn't look like.  But, still pretty cool.

Can you link us to the ToToTek cart and where one can buy a Super Wild Card DX2--I want another one.  I shouldn't of sold mine.

Oh and this cart is pretty cool.

Octomam beat me when he really shouldn't have--and on battle speed 3 too.  I'm just not interested in playing this game anymore without cheating.  Anyone got any DS Action Replay codes?

Either the flash movie doesn't work or the new flash plugin for opera sucks ass.

It is a great game, and has the addiction factor which I look for.  I can't get into the SFC RS games unless they are translated.  And now since I do not have a notebook I cannot play any emulators anymore.

I bought it like almost 3 months ago and I just now opened the package for the first time.     Now if you'll excuse me Romancing SaGa awaits.   :cycle:

I just can't get hooked on this.  I prefer the original sadly.  I don't feel like playing through multiple New Game+'s just to get augments or whatnot.  I'd rather go back to playing the SFC/SNES version.

Megaman VI (NES)

:isuck: at this game. It has been a consistent adventure of game overs so far. Flame Man had me stumped for a bit, then Blizzard Man had me annoyed for a bit, now Plant Man has me crying.

FF4 DS

1:xx Got through the first part of the Kaipo caves (I forgot what they are called) with Tella.  So far I'm liking the getting 100% map thing get a reward.  I do not however like the battle mechanics--its too much like FF3 DS and I didn't like that game much.  The music is good as is the cutscenes.  I also like some of the newly added stuff--but I've obviously not see everything.

For those who have no wii, I was reading that there MAY be a method of loading wiiware games through the Dolphin wii/gc emulator.

I'm about to test it out now, will report back when I get a chance.

-*edit*-

Well, it runs it, and while it's not quite full speed, it runs well enough to be playable. Not sure how to get it to load the DLC content tho

-*edit the second*-

Ok so I can get it to run at either full speed x 2 or half speed it seems. If you disable the audio throttler, it'll run at about 120fps, if you enable it, at least on my machine, it runs around 30fps. The target for full speed is 60. I'ma tinker with it more and see what I can get.

Err, what is this dolphin wii gc emulator thing?
