right.  but with no lag afterwards, they'd probably become too overpowered.  still, i agree a menu selection (or a fast-moving Swdtech gauge) would be the sensible input method (before making Cyan wait).

ah, that's probably it..  but it's insane; he should contest it.  it was my understanding that only posts that aided in procuring or running copyrighted ROMs were against the ToS, and merely talking about editing ROMs wasn't a problem.  the idiots running that place have no consistency.

as for Cyan, the best idea i've seen posted by various people is to have the charge wait occur after confirming the command.  C2/067B has the "time to wait" (which characters spend in their "ready stance"), but it's by command rather than by spell/attack.  i suppose one way to get around it is to have special code at C2/03F5 that uses a sub-table of wait times when the command # is 07 (SwdTech).  you'd have to do some math to convert whatever timing is used for the Swdtech gauge (in bank C1) into a counter used for the Wait timer.  also, it'd be impure in that it would be influenced by Speed and Slow/Haste, though maybe that's a good thing.  finally, i dunno offhand whether the "time to wait" byte will allow for the large delay that QuadraSlice and Cleave normally require.
