I was saved exactly where I thought I was. Today it was "do more stuff," which wound up beating some God-Beasts (and that's a terrible name). Two of them are dead at this moment (wind and pumpkin). All three members of my party are level 25, and I'm still holding my own.

Seiken Densetsu 3 (SNES)

First time playing this game (yeah, really). It came recommended by a friend, so I gave it a shot (considering how much I like Legend and Secret, I don't know why I never gave this a chance until now). My team is Lise, Duran, and Kevin, which I'm told is one of the easiest setups the game has.

I'm progressing through quite nicely. I got as far as the volcano island, but died on it (actually Kevin and Lise died, Duran was still alive but it was a game over anyway) and hadn't saved since I arrived so I'm not sure how much I lost (I think my last save was at Rolante castle, as I was retaking it).

I believe they only try to steal if you are successful in stealing. I could be wrong though.

For those that don't know, he led the Tennessee Titans to their only Super Bowl appearance (they lost that game to the Rams). RIP Steve.

And now, the JCE special, Final Fantasy 4! I'll post the segments as I go this time, instead of a giant marathon like I did Secret of Mana. The first two segments go as the Dark Elf.

Uses v1.0 of the US version of FF4. Made with Zsnes v1.51



And now parts 3-9 of the movie. I did not include my massively epic fail attempt at Zeromus, but once I beat him I'll upload part 10.

That response was almost in English.

And be able to spam using those items in battle without worrying about depleting them.

If you have 99, isn't that true anyway? You'll always keep your eye on the quantity you have, so I'm not real sure on this point.

I checked the ignore defense patch. It's compatible with your other patches
now, but unfortunately not clashes with Assassin's Jump Megafix patch

I suggest removing the ignore defense patch for the time being. I need to rewrite it or optimize it or something (or find more free space in C2).

That can definitely help to raise the skill level of weapons you may not even use. I suppose for the fists then, you'd unequip both shields and then win?

It's only abusable if your weapon skill is 9 and your shield skill is, say, 2. Otherwise it's nothing special.

Makes me curious about the Ignore Defense patch though. Although considering I've had 4 reports about it conflicting with other patches, I'm not at all surprised if it caused a problem. It's still conflicting, just haven't found any free space in C2.

I'm using the 1.1 US ROM. I've actually found a few patches that aren't working right for my project, some of them put out by Lenophis. Here are the ones that I've found so far:

(Lenophis) I-D no longer ignores Safe & Shell:  > Causes the ROM to glitch/crash when choosing an action for Shadow during the Sabin scenario.

(Lenophis) Crusader Reflect Fix:                             > Graphical glitches whenever a battle is called.

And in each readme, v1.1 is only listed in Ignore Defense no longer Ignoring Safe & Shell, and it's not in the "tested" section. Addresses looked free between the two, which is why I listed v1.1 in the first place.

I didn't list v1.1 in the other two for good reason.

This happened rather suddenly. Suffered a heart attack. He was 50 years old.
