Four days after Doc throws a perfecto (and the Marlins are still selling tickets to that), Armando Gallaraga of the Tigers was hosed out of a perfecto. Hasn't been a good season for the guys in the black shirts so far.

Oh yeah, Junior hung up his cleats today. The sweetest swing is done, after 22 years.

What are you on, dial-up?
26.4 at its finest. :wtf:

And now for an entirely new way to fail. It's a small list now, but as more bloopers are put together, this list shall grow. Enjoy, and get a laugh.

No, I had not known about it. After seeing the nearly 2 gig download size, I don't think I'll ever have to worry about it. :xzone:

I feel the need to rant. Games 3 and 4 are on freaking Versus which is a channel I do not have. If the series ends in a sweep (Blackhawks are up 2-1 in the 3rd with under 6 minutes to go, and lead the series 1-0 at the time of this post) then I won't get to watch it. :banonsmash: :bah: :lame: :wtf:

He was the ultimate movie bad guy, even better than Ronny Cox, and that's saying something.

Gary suffered from a massive stroke, and King Koopa died to prostate cancer. Gary was 42, Dennis was 74.

Ok, they're all up, except for Super Spy Hunter. It wasn't there.

My reign of bloopers continues! I was able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in DKC2, did my first ever real speed attempt at an any% for Super Metroid...only to get a time of 1:00. :isuck:

I've also put together an impressive collection of SotN bloopers (with one of the big ones in the previous post) and a nice collection of Ninja Gaiden bloopers. All in all, it all ends badly.

I'm still contemplating another game to run, but I may do more Ninja Gaiden or SotN, dunno for certain. :hmm:

The finals have been set, and while I fully expected the Blackhawks to get there, I was completely wrong on the Flyers. However, with the Marion Hossa factor, the Blackhawks can't win. Don't blame me, assassin, this was destined since Hossa signed last offseason. Fate's weird like that.

I decided to record a run of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night to see how rusty I am. The run lasted all of 5:16, so that should give you an indication of how much I suck at it. However, before it switched to Alucard, things looked...funky. Observe:

Richter is completely transparent, except for his sprite outline, Drac's health meter is mostly missing, and though it wasn't seen, Maria's palette was completely messed up.

Pretty sure my PS is dying. :( At least the PS2 rides strong!

[21:46:08] <Disch> <Lenophis> paging Disch
[21:46:08] <Disch> <Lenophis>
[21:46:15] <Disch> I don't have an account on those forums  =(
[21:46:22] <Disch> but yeah my doc is totally wrong
[21:46:35] <Disch> it was written before I realized MMC1 had a 256K cap
[21:46:59] <Disch> In order to expand he'd have to switch to another mapper, or go with SUROM
[21:47:11] <Lenophis> want me to relay?
[21:47:18] <Disch> SUROM is MMC1, but switching between the upper and lower 256K blocks is funky
[21:47:25] <Disch> yeah if you want
[21:47:36] <Disch> direct him to my more complete mapper docs
[21:47:51] <Disch> (the ones that have like 100+ mappers documented)
[21:47:58] <Lenophis> is it at RHDN?
[21:48:02] <Disch> yes
[21:48:05] <Disch> tell him to check out 001.txt and read the section on SUROM
[21:48:14] <Disch> or wait.. SOROM?
[21:48:16] <Disch> one of those
[21:48:18] * Disch checks
[21:48:39] <Lenophis> which document?
[21:48:48] <Lenophis> cause you still have FF1 rom expansion there
[21:48:56] <Disch> SUROM
[21:49:06] <Disch> the mapper docs one
[21:49:19] <Disch> hold
[21:49:44] <Disch>

Pretty sure that was my fault. :isuck:

Aye, yai yai. You'd think with 2.0 there'd be uniformity, or something. I have no idea how the stats pages are drawn, so I don't know where to begin with fixing it.
