A double dip for samurai goroh and Odbarc! And both of you are the same age, which suggests something...strange. :omg:

Rawr Rawr (for November 27).

I don't know which one you want to use, but both are here for your choosing.

An earlier attempt got to about 60, plus a doink off of Magnet Man (I bounced the spark off of him).

Got a better run.

Leno: All of your movie links pointed at the 22nd version
 :isuck:

I fixed that for you.
Thanks.

Also, you've got the year listed twice in your filenames, and the month is nowhere to be found.

Anyway, you're not alone dying on that screen, I've died there at least once, and Vixy from Rockman PM ended her 381 screen run there too. I'd like to include that run on the archive but I kind of want to limit it to Nestopia movies only, for consistency, quality, and size reasons. Any thoughts on this? It's a good time to decide these things, before the link goes up on the archive.
I'm not entirely sure myself. I reserve my thoughts for a later time. :hmm:

a greater than 50% fall is more than what happens in the typical recession
Considering this is my first big one, it's one hell of a recession to set the bar by.

from what i've heard, so it's possible we won't fall much further (though this recession is shaping up to be pretty bad).
Based on historical records, I don't think the recession of the late 70's/early 80's was as bad as this. Then again, I was born in '82, so I'm not entirely familiar with it. I guess we'll know how much worse it gets in the next 60 days or so.

New avatars are up. The new selection comes from MM1-MM6, and MM9. Most of the MM7 and MM8 avatars are too big, though if the NES recreation hack/homebrew pans out we can add those instead.

I'm still working on the Wily bosses, and I'll get those up as soon as possible.

Got them up. There are some missing, most notably from MM3, because they were too big.

Megaman III (NES)

I am not kidding when I say this, tonight is the very first time I've beaten the game without using savestates. To mark the occasion, I made a movie of it. There's ups and downs (including a couple lame deaths, but I was expecting there to be some), and even a potential game freezing moment (you'll know it when you see it).

Included in the movie is a subtitled commentary, and you'll get to see the lame jokes I came up with. Enjoy.

Made with Disch's not-at-all-final version of Schpune.

I could pretend he's thanking me for running the archive/strategies page. Were you planning on uploading videos of the new areas? I've got Wily 3 Area 4 converted, just wanted to make sure you weren't already uploading one or something. I'm not going to bother with Blues 4 Area 7, that one's really not hard, although maybe I'll upload a flawless run of it (I only got hit once in the one I recorded, but that was dumb luck really, I wasn't trying not to get hit).
Either that or let you do it, since there's no way I had enough time earlier in the day.
* Lenophis proceeds with the upload

Boom and boom.

I don't know of this is indicative or not, but the new black and white room has a "Thank you!" in it. Should we read anything into it?

Uh oh! Well, maybe not "uh oh!" but definitely an update. Question is, 16th or 17th?

At least 3 new rooms for this update. One is a Wily room (the room with the screenshot), a new Gravity room which I believe is taken from the original game, and a new black and white room.

Without wasting much thought...

"It's done when they say it's done."
Pretty much sums it up.

And now, a run of hard mode for the November 10th update. It didn't start out so great, then I encounter the napalm man room and new lazer room (again). I didn't figure either out until after this movie, so expect much hilarity there.

I have an excellent movie for the November 8th update (this was before I even knew the 10th was out), and the only thing that can describe it is this:

New ultimate personal best!

And now a run for the November 10th update. And where do I die? Why, a new laser room, of course!

I haven't seen any new areas outside of the laser area yet
It's always possible the rooms I saw were added in a previous update and I never ran into them.
