It would be a wicked mod to have  the multi-glows of every buff/debuff you had on you! :childish:

Just use your ps3 controller on your pc

http://www.motioninjoy.com/

This is how I play all of my emulators how. it also works great for pc games only designed to work with an xbox controller (I'm looking at you Walking Dead)

I had this one and it suddenly stopped working for some reason. I could give it another try.

You using Windows 7 both?
I don't want to invest in another thing just to have it not work either, right? As far as I can tell, the one I have SHOULD work, should it not?
It's not entirely different other than the case.

I've tried googling it.
I've tried waiting weeks, months years and googling again and again and googling different combinations of words and tried every stupid idea suggested by idiots who have no clue on what the problem actually is and hope that a similar solution that worked for them in the past has the same problem; and doesn't.

My GamePad, which worked perfectly fine with Windows XP cannot seem to function with Windows 7.
I don't know it's brand so I can't find drivers or install some optional windows driver. Uninstalling and restarting doesn't work. (In fact, my computer, if I do this and keep it plugged in and not boot-up at all.)
It lets me plug in my PS2 controller into it. The PS2 controller works fine also. I even had a brand new one (which works in my old computer XP and PS2 like all the rest).

I HATE the game-pads available today with their one-button D-pad Classic-Sega-Style and Xbox/Microsoft styled controllers. (I even bought a PS3 over an Xbox because of the controller.)
Is there some kind of hack or product that exists that will actually work for me? I can't play my emulator on a friggin' keyboard. It's just ridiculous and I'm tired of not working on my rom hack because of this one tiny significant detail. I probably should have asked here sooner.
I even tried this PS3-USB program and it seemed to work for a while then suddenly didn't and never did again. (And goodness, there's a bunch of old files and start-up junk on my computer despite being uninstalled, pre-reformatting.)

Anyone else have this kind of problem too?

How 'fixed' is this playing/feeling like?

Overreact much to a pirate game?

I've already seen bits about the "FF4 NES" version and "CT NES" version. There's a limit to how much I don't care about these things. You can only do so much with the NES...

Now, of course, you could say "This from the guy who makes another FF6 hardtype...." but we can argue that one on another thread

Considering that FF6 hacks these days need to evolve further from the "just hacking text/equipment/stats tweaks"... my standards for these hacks are significantly higher than the average person.

Concur. Putting in the time and effort into playing the same game really doesn't excite me. I'd sooner replay the original version of the game.
I think, to date, the best hack I've played was JCT2000's Hardtype hack.

I have Eternal Crystals which I'm assuming is also a great hack based on screenshots and website info, but until I can get my gamepad working (Windows 7 bullshit. Both gamepad and PS3 controller won't work for me), I won't be trying it out.
Pandora's Box (It's still in the demo/beta, isn't it?) seems promising though the demo I have seems like the original game for the most parts.

And isn't gogo13 (YOU!) and/or some other guy Dark(_____) working on a "all fixes" patch? Exciting.

----

My rom hack (shameless promo? Nah, one man projects'll take me a decade to finish) consists of me wanting to change almost every aspect of the game.
Abridged Style comedy rewrite (to the best of my ability), items/stats rehashed, make use of all the extra sprites I made myself (Arvis, Gestahl, Daryl, Sigfried, Vargas, ect.) maybe make some unique customs too. Alter the spells to give different characters 'roles' (artificial classes), and make boss fights a bit more epic or at least make 'em look cool.
All of which will take a long time to edit. Plus I'm OCD when it comes to testing immediate changes like graphics, battle scripts, ect. so it's a molasses process. (Mole asses, huh huh).

I've never played any of the Orochi games. Samurai Warriors was always a little off for me.

Save? Use the quick-save/quick-load.

I've helped with patches... HOW?! I don't recall helping anyone. All I'm good for are my preexisting sprites.

I still lurk frequently but mostly it's work that has me tied away. I may quit my job eventually. I've got all this useless money saved up and there's nothing I want or need in life (not that I have much).

Thank you, though IRL it does have a slight graphical flaw to it

Would I rather a minor graphical flaw or no change at all? And if I didn't want changes, I'd just play the stupid original.

Is it supposed to replace the title menu music? Seems like it should suit a different atmosphere.

I think there is a misunderstanding.  This is literally just an arrangement of the original song, it wasn't composed or imported to/from any game.  :)  Does that make sense?

Yes.
Um, link to the original???

I've experienced things like this before in the past too, but not with the LE (which I've not really used) but with the Yousei editor.

Red Hare?

What registering questions? I don't recall doing that. But it keeps the bots out and it's not the kind of  thing you need to keep doing once your in to avoid captchas. Which is worse.
If bots had access to the forums, they'd spam the shit out of them with their garbage.

Welcome.
