Was he not in your shadow party?  I believe whichever character is in the proper shadow slot should be loaded.

I appealed one and the mod called me a name in the response.

there's a time where that probably would've gotten a mod dis-barred.  did you point out this behavior to the Admin?

I only mentioned it in my further appeal, which was denied again.  I then decided to just leave that site.  I have posted there a few times in the years since, but I used to be really active on the FF boards.

I've twice been moderated for something that was not against the rules until after I was moderated.  The NFL has the Rooney rule, Gamefaqs has the Matequillo rules.

I appealed one and the mod called me a name in the response.  I think the mods just back each other over there.

I only ran into problems with inventory space when I got to the Lunar Ruins.  I ran out of room in the Interlude because I was holding on to almost everything since I didn't know what to expect.

Yeah I play at max sped.  I guess maybe my judgment was influenced by the game prior to the shipwreck.  I hadn't heard that segment was supposed to be easier.  I noticed a change right from the start.  I had decided to try for some summon drops before heading to Mist and found that none of the enemies never even attempted an attack before the battle was over.  This was normal in the SNES FFII release, but not in any other FFIV release I've played.

On a side note, I find it annoying that when you go to save it is automatically on the last file you had saved on.  I had finished the crystals and decided to finish Rydia's Tale, since that was the only tale I hadn't finished on my first run.  I wasn't thinking at just hit the accept button when saving and save over my only Crystals file, and I had yet to check out the extra boss fight.  I'd prefer if the game defaulted to the last file you loaded up until you have saved again.

The extra boss was kind of lame.  I did lose my first attempt because I hadn't leveled most of my characters.  After a small amount of levelling, I easily won.  The thing hardly does any moves before I kill it.  I had to fight it a second time and sit and wait on the second portion to do all its summons so I could fill out my bestiary.

I've played through the whole thing and it does seem a bit easier.  Even TAY seemed easier.  It doesn't seem like a lot of enemies get their attacks in as quickly as they used to.

Does learning through the items count as an event?
